Todd Cabrera
Growing up in the foster care system was a challenging and uncertain journey. It often involved navigating through unfamiliar environments, facing constant changes and obstacles. However, amidst the hardships, Todd was fortunate enough to find solace and purpose in the game of baseball. Baseball became more than just a sport for him; it became an outlet, a sanctuary where he could escape the chaos of his circumstances and find a sense of control and belonging. Playing all the way through high school and winning All-Conference honors, Todd signed to play college baseball where he would excel and eventually end up winning the NJCAA Defensive Player Of The Year award in 2013. Todd would later on find his passion in coaching, opening his own travel baseball organization Valor Baseball and Valkyrie Softball with over 140 kids of all ages. Here at Sixth Tool we aim to help players of all backgrounds navigate the mental and physical aspects of the game. Our goal is to show that through discipline, perseverance and teamwork, we can bounce back from setbacks and failures.

Bryce Weidman
A journey from a small town to the big leagues. Beyond mastering the technical aspects of the game, Bryce thrives on the camaraderie and community forged around the game of baseball. Originally from a small town on the Central Oregon Coast, he has been heavily involved in the baseball community throughout his life. He had been playing or coaching for over two decades. In 2012 Bryce fulfilled a life long dream and was drafted in the 14th round to the Major League Baseball Pittsburg Pirates. After spending three seasons with the Pirates, Bryce was picked up by the Alpine Cowboys of the Pecos League in Alpine, TX. In his first season he was an All-Star selection and an integral part of helping push the team to a Pecos League Championship title. After two seasons with the Cowboys, Bryce hung up his cleats and put on his coaching hat. Now he coaches in his hometown community at the high school level all the way down to tee ball. Bryce also owns a baseball training and pitching program for youth athletes called Mound Visit West.
